## Pre-Program (feeling out period, ~March 7-22, 2026)

Was running a version of 5/3/1 BBB with TMs calculated at 90-95% (too high). Used this period to figure out working weights and get familiar with the program structure.

Notable: Hit 245 × 5 on deadlift (felt hard/maximal). This informed the 245 1RM estimate.

Formal Cycle 1 starts March 23, 2026 with corrected 85% TMs.

### Week 1

**Mon Mar 23 — Rest**
Skipped gym. Mowed lawn ~2.5 hours (heavy yard work).

**Wed Mar 25 — OHP (5s)**
- AMRAP set: **105 × 7** (2+ reps in tank)
- Note: Prescribed top set was 100. Went heavier, crushed it.

**Fri Mar 27 — Squat (5s)**
- AMRAP set: **185 × 5** (2+ reps in tank)
- Note: Prescribed top set was 160. Went heavier to test. Will follow plan weights going forward.
